When half of the bridal party is made up of New York City firemen, you better be ready for a wild adventure. Check in at the PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn - a quaint spot nestled in Tahoe's Squaw Valley, where the 1960 Winter Olympics were held. Not only surrounded by gorgeous scenery, slopes, and giant evergreens, but right across from Olympic Village with pubs, shopping and trail access. Endless outdoor activities at your fingertips, Tahoe was the perfect setting for these two lovers who met in NYC. Chris, a FDNY fireman (hence the above statement) and Christina, a former Miss America finalist, Miss Nevada and now a physician assistant (and may I add, just all around incredible woman!!) found each other in the busy world of NYC, on a subway train for that matter! From lakeside fun, to an epic wedding day where the adventures took us from PlumpJack, to the Pub, to the Squaw Valley wilds (where a storm lingered in the distance, chased later by a rainbow) and soon followed by an evening full of revelry, Irish dancing, and boundless love...
