Ryan + Kendal

Dacula, GA

I flew into Atlanta on a warm autumn afternoon, beyond excited to partake in the festivities about to begin at Oak Meadow Acres, the family farm in Georgia.  Yes, I was ready for their wedding day, but I was equally excited for the big concert Friday night, an evening of song directed by Kendal's brother Joel and performed by their talented friends + family, from folk to broadway.  The rain did not stop the Friday festivities, if anything it only heightened the romantic fall day.  The next morning, with the resident rooster touting his call bright and early, I awoke in time to register the bray of the family donkeys, who apparently were ready for the big day as well.  The farm, a cacophony of sounds and excitement as family and friends worked their magic behind the scenes, I felt lucky to be in the midst of such love and joy from everyone involved.  A lake view ceremony, cocktails on the lawn followed by a good old-fashioned southern barbecue and dancing under the stars, I couldn't imagine a more perfect wedding for these two.

Ryan + Kendal I feel lucky to know you.  You are two truly special human beings.

Let the adventure begin...

  2. Daryl and Aaron,

I can't say enough how much it meant to have you at our sides for this event. You made us feel so at ease—you were such a part of the family all weekend long.

Thank you for capturing all the details we wanted to remember, and all the beautiful details we didn't even know we'd missed.

The weekend went by in such a blur, we were starting to wonder if it was just a surreal dream. But seeing your photos, we relived countless priceless moments, and we realized just how lucky we are...to have had this weekend, and to have had it captured by you two!

    Much love,
    Kendal and Ryan
